Farewell New York City is a live action and stop motion film about Edwin Mulligan, a washed-up musician, loses his cheeky, talking guitar aboard a one-way train out of New York City. With only minutes to departure, Edwin experiences an abstract journey through the train in search of the one he has loved and lost.

The train was fully modular, with 3 of the 4 walls removable, as well as the ceiling and 2/3 of the floor. The light fixture in the traincar is made out of cut-up ping pong balls.
